Technical Description

What is a Technical Description?

A Technical Description is a detailed explanation of an object, process, or concept, focusing on its function, components, and how they interact. The description uses both visuals and text to tell the reader on how to use a product or complete a process.

“Well what did you do for your Technical Description?”. I wrote about How Cloud Storage works. Cloud Storage like Google Drive, OneDrive, and iCloud. Check it out here ————> My Technical Description

The Process:

At first I didn’t know what topic to choose. I had some interesting ideas that I could’ve done like:

“How to build a computer”. Me?? Build a whole computer? Not only I had to buy each part with my own cash (and I’m dirt broke) but I had to clearly and specifically provide a set of instructions and REAL photos on what I’m doing. I won’t lie, I’m no expert so there’s no way I can do a Technical Description on How to build a computer.

“How to hack a Wii”. Everyone loves the Nintendo Wii. Be honest, you’re probably thinking about hopping on Wii Sports and playing a couple rounds of Tennis. I always wanted to unlock the Wii’s full potential and get FREE games. So (last summer) I decided to hack my Wii. Is this legal? I̶ d̶o̶n̶’t̶ k̶n̶o̶w̶. Of course it is! Was there a possibly that I could’ve bricked my Wii? D̶e̶f̶i̶n̶i̶t̶e̶l̶y̶. Of course not! I’m a professional! Surprisingly, it was a success. But the question I asked myself, “Do I really want to reset everything for my one assignment?”. Sorry but I don’t wanna do that.

So now I came up with something easy and something that everyone knows. Cloud Storage. Everyone knows cloud storage. Like everyone surely must have used Google Drive once in their life, right? Anyway, I got started on my draft only paying attention to the Assignment format. So yeah, already a red flag. I didn’t acknowledge the general requirements, I didn’t format my sources correctly, the font wasn’t right, it wasn’t doubled spaced, I didn’t even include pictures. But, I did fix everything, made corrections, and formatted my sources correctly this time.
